Does this program have any thing for diagnostics? i would like to know before i spend all day downloading a program on this p.o.s. computer.

If your ECM coughs it up, my program will show it & log it. Diagnostic codes & such included. It doesn't perform any 'active' diagnostics, just data logging. You'll have to put your hinking cap on after the fact to figure out what's going on.

You won't spend all day downloading it, it's relatively small. It took me maybe 2 min to download over 56K. There is one program like 1M, took a litte longer for that but not bad.

SINCE I am a newby and I did a search for CRAIG, and really couldn't find the answer, I have a few questions.

1) What is Craigs software, from what I can tell it is like the DIACOM software, but a little more extensive for tuning purposes rahter than diagnostics only. AM I RIGHT?? Yes or No.

2) How much does it cost? & where do I get it,I was at his/your website, wasn't real sure what to download. Might not been on correct page.

3) Since I already have DIACOM, will the Parallel connector work with the program so I dont have to go buy another adapter? Yes/No.

It's a lot like Diacom, just reads the datastream and stores it for future analysis. Also displays pages of stuff.

It's totally free and open-source.

I thought the file descriptions in terms of their necessity was made rather clear on my page, but perhaps I was mistaken somehow. The program is very small (about 0.1MB total for both needed segments), just download the thing and try it out. It has a 'testing' mode so you can look through what it does in the absence of hardware interface. It also has documentation, which will tell you what it does & how it works.

No, it will not work with the Diacom adapter. It will work with a serial port adapter (not parallel). The serial adapter can be home-made from $2 to $10 or bought for around $50.
