Winbin editor and T-56 VSS

Is it possible to burn a new chip with a change to the VSS settings, to adapt a T-56 VSS?

The T-56 VSS sensor is different. Besides.. you dont need to make changes in the PROM to correct for a different gear ration or different pulse. You could and maybe should if you have the equipment since the ECM does base some of its calculations on MPH, but it's not super critical. I would worry about getting my speedo to work fine first then worry about the chip.

Oh well, it was rather informative. Anyhow, I think what was done was to set the PPM count down so it would agree with the gears you have. You have to go to the particular address in the prom and change it and since every mask has it in a different place, I couldn't say where it's at. I know this has been discussed on this board before so maybe a search with "T56 VSS" might provide some help.
