Aeromotive a1000 fuel pump/filter. 1 Attachment(s) 800lb/hr at 50psi... Attachment 405364 Came out of a 9sec GN with only a few passes on it. He thought the pump went bad and sent it off to Aeromotive for a rebuild and bought an a1200 to replace it, turned out there was another issue, but the pump was rebuilt regardless and sold it to me - I'm not the knuckle head that used a Channel-Lock on it lol, only cosmetic, though. Re: Aeromotive a1000 fuel pump/filter. 2 Attachment(s) Well we placed 3rd overall at the Challenge! Came in 2nd at the Auto-x, has a best run of 33sec, only to get beaten by a Lexus V8-powered Miata. Took 3rd in the car show, and had a best drag run of 12.36@117mph which placed us 5th in the straights. Not too bad for a 2.5l i6 @ 21psi and we only had DOT Hoosiers with super stiff sidewalls :D We blew the HG on the 175k mile motor, though, could have gotten in the 10's if we tweaked the launch a little better. Here's the car we built for $1962 Attachment 405015 and the other car that came specifically to beat us. It's the same late 80's BMW 325is, but they tried out-powering us with an lm7 (iron block ls1)... Attachment 405016 Come take a ride in the car....
