Gaging Interest: '10 SS Brembo brackets I'm looking at getting some more brackets cut for my SS Brembo conversion. The first time I got them cut (lazer) they were $28 each ($56 a pair). The holes for the caliper were accidentally cut 19/32 instead of 9/16. I'm going to get another pair cut. Of course the more I order the cheaper it gets. These are 3/8" thick, require 1le hubs, and two .315" spacers per side. At about 10 sets the price drops to about $30 a pair. Looking to see how many people would be interested in a set. I'm not looking at selling complete kits, but will tell you what I used. Just looking out for the guy that wants to do it himself but needs the brackets cut. https://www.fototime.com/2F665640B941C0C/standard.jpg https://www.fototime.com/7004BF98837E15A/standard.jpg https://www.fototime.com/4F038E00E684338/standard.jpg |
Re: Gaging Interest: '10 SS Brembo brackets I'm interested if we can get 10 buyers. I have this upgrade planned on my Iroc. |
Re: Gaging Interest: '10 SS Brembo brackets What kind of wheels do we need for these? Will they fit a factory IROC wheel? |

Pretty sure you need 18" wheels... |
Re: Gaging Interest: '10 SS Brembo brackets What does this setup push the wheel out compared to stock? |
Re: Gaging Interest: '10 SS Brembo brackets My calcs put it at +.653" each side (.318 from the 1le hub plus .335 from the rotor). I had a 2" adapter with vette wheels previously. I'll still need an 1.25" adapter after these go on, maybe a 1.5" even. |
