Re: Air Cleaner V6 MPFI TPI Upper Snorkel

John, I have no Camaro but are these same or different than a V-8? looks same but IDK

Re: Air Cleaner V6 MPFI TPI Upper Snorkel

The only difference between this V6 air cleaner and the V8 air cleaner is that the V6 version has the Intake Air Sensor mounted in it's neck,.... The V8 (TPI) engine has it's IAT mounted in the Plenum. Some TPI guys relocate the IAT sensor from the plenum to the air box by simply installing this Air Cleaner.

Here's some info about this modification:

Spare Tire Air Canister / Inflation Bottle: $30 + shipping. Pulled it from the back of an 86 Trans AM. I've never used 1 and can't be sure if it's ever been used or not, it weighs about 2 1/4 pounds. ( I've got 5 of these and they all weigh the same. ) The label / cardboard is in rough shape, bracket/wingnut is included.

350ci 4-bolt main block. $75 (NO SHIPPING, pick-up in RI ) PN = 3970010; Think it's a targetmaster block. I've done no machine shop work to it so it will need a full work-over.

Dont know if it's in the same arena as the snorkel filter. But do you have a cover for where the snorkel would go? Like the firebirds had?

John in RI 10-30-2019 01:53 AM

Re: Engine Drivetrain Suspension ----> too much to list.

Yup,.... a Camaro with Carb, Crossfire, or TBI had the "tool tray" plastic filler piece. It was different in the Firebird,...... the Pontiac had a steel 'filler' panel. This is the only one I've got worth offering ($20); Of the others I've got one has a notch cut from it and the other 2 are scratched to hell. It's not perfect and has some scratches, but all the mounting holes are OK & it's in good used condition.

Push / Pull Dual Aftermarket Fans ( Hayden ). $45 + shipping. Look to be 14" fans; 1 fan needs 3 1/4" for mounting and 1 fan needs 3 1/2" for mounting. ( measured from face of of the fan to back of the motor. ) The measurement is about 16" from outer edge to outer edge of the mounting tabs. Both fans tested and functional, pushing/pulling around 1200-1400CFM. Part numbers appear to be ' 20835 &/or '14-4413B3'. ( searched both numbers and found nothing ) No mounting hardware included.
