Anyone like the smell of good clean exhaust? i love the smell of a tuned in, good running engine. without cats makes it better. it just reminds of the dragstrip. i hate it when a car smells like rotten eggs, or burning oil, or running rich. |

nothing like some good fumes in the morning |
i hate the smell of diesel cars |
Had to laugh at that subject line. I agree, certain exhausts please me olfactorily. When I was a kid gasoline fumes were often pleasing. Maybe that's why I'm still into this cars and racing stuff. Dame Bramage. |
Any car running on alcohol has some nice smelling exhaust. Go to a go kart race once, or midgets. |
NO the top fuel dragsters gas smell great :D but the race gas that u can get at the track smells nice |
i dont know about anyone else but... I LOOOOOVE THE SMELL OF GAS...especially premium:) |
:hail: CAM 2 110 octane leaded racing gas |
yea cam 2 purple had to go out to take another whif of mine :D mmmmmm gas fumes :lala: |
LoL my Girlfriend loves the smell of gas fumes... It gets me sick. But the smell of a good clean running exhaust smells very nice in the morning. |
In my last Jegs catalogue, they have additives for your fuel that makes the exhaust smell like fruit and stuff. $10 per 4oz bottle, one bottle treats 20 gallons of gas. |

I second what Freeze said. The smell of Diesel sucks. I hate getting behind a hick in a dually at a stop light. |
Ya I have also wondered about the scented gas tank bottles. But I wouldnt pay $10 bucks each time I fill my tank. MMMM...Burnout Blueberry :burnout: I still want to try them though. |
I LOVE WORKING AT A GAS STATION..... (and having a 43 willys jeep, SBC, 13:1 comp, 105 sunoco race gas....mmmmm) |
I thought I was the only one who liked the smell of pump gas when you hit that Stoch. perfect A/F ratio and don't have a cat to break it down on the way out. Don't get teh smell from the new car yet though. Man I thought having 1 cat sucked, now I got 4  Well... until I put a new H-pipe on. |
hey guys i run 93 octane sunoco gas in my car and today after installin my system we had the car running and the exuast fumes were burning my eyes. whats up with that? the last time my eyes burned from exuast fumes was at the NHRA meet at Englishtown when the started the top fuels and funny cars up for there warm ups. |

i like the smell of 60's and 70's muscle cars... |
living in farm country, i like the smell of diesels. especially the ones that spew black smoke as they go under load. but yes i love the smell of exhaust. the cart race i went to had a nice smelling exhaust to it. say it with me "16,000 rpms" sounds soooo nice dont it? |
I hate the smell of unburnt gas out the exhaust. Now jet engine exhaust smells nice, and some turbo diesels as well (their's smell kinda like jet exhaust). |
i love the smell of gas when im filling up, love muscle cars etc, the smell of power is what is....nitro methane cars burn my eyes though |
I like first run after installing new exhaust - you open the hood and there's smell of hot steel just having its first burnout. (of course this smell isn't so fine when your ign. wires are fried at headers;) ) |
My exhaust smells a tad gasy, but I get good mpg so I guess thats ok :D |
