My new 1992 Z/28 convertible with 13,700 miles So I finally pulled the trigger on this 1992 Z/28 vert that I have been looking at for over a year now. Just got it home in my garage today, very happy with the car - 13,700 miles and all original Got all the original paper work with the car including original invoice, sales order, etc - The car was bought new at Pope Chevrolet in Roswell, GA by a woman that only drove it on sunny Sunday's :) I dont think the top has ever been down.....should be a fun car, you don't see many of them, especially Dark Red 92 verts.....here are a few pics and I will post some better ones this weekend..... https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...978df428d1.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...40f5cea4cf.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...ce4936bcf3.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...f7decc66e1.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...8a7521d711.jpg |

Re: My new 1992 Z/28 convertible with 13,700 miles It's not a very well kept secret, that I have a real soft spot for the metallic colored cars. Doesn't matter if it's the metallic red, blue, gunmetal gray, teal, or dark metallic green. I like it. So F41 suspension? |

Re: My new 1992 Z/28 convertible with 13,700 miles Nice. I like it. Not many that color. |
Re: My new 1992 Z/28 convertible with 13,700 miles I'm sure someone will jump in if I'm wrong, but I want to say FE2/G92 weren't offered on the Z28 (edit: convertible) in 91/92, so they lack the 245 tires, 145mph speedo, and so on. But it really doesn't matter much. Even with the skinny tires and slightly smaller front sway bar, my RS handles pretty darn nice. A convertible thirdgen is a comfortable cruiser. One of the most comfortable, enjoyable driving thirdgens. I paid way too much for my RS, but it was an overwhelming indulgence I just couldn't resist. :) |

Yes sir - not a lot of options but what can you expect from a female buyer ?? Not sure. My wife ordered a new Convertible Camaro SS RS w a bunch more options. Perhaps not typical, but not the only one either. |

Re: My new 1992 Z/28 convertible with 13,700 miles Well, that is a stunning car. Love the color. HOWEVER, absolutely love your garage. I have a thing for neat garages. Lord knows, I don't have one. Louis |
