Rear Weatherstrip and Interior Exhaust Smell My car runs a bit rich with the carb setup. After driving with the windows up, i'll come into the house smelling like an exhaust pipe. I believe the rear hatch weatherstrip is original to the car. If I replace the weatherstrip, do you think that'll resolve the issue? Just curious if anybody else had a similar experience. :burnout: |

Re: Rear Weatherstrip and Interior Exhaust Smell Also IMO I would probably tune up the ignition and carburetor so she isn't running so rich. After I did that I would get that oil changed. Probably has a lot of gas in it. |
Re: Rear Weatherstrip and Interior Exhaust Smell I'll give it a shot guys, thanks! |
Re: Rear Weatherstrip and Interior Exhaust Smell is your hatch pull down working?? if its stuck in the up position, like so many are it wont let the hatch press down and seal properly. |

IIRC, a rich carb smell can also be caused from disconnecting the charcoal canister. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...ove-vapor.html |
