1985 Z28 input and suggestions 3 Attachment(s) I have been a member here forever and have not been spending any time here and recently decided to to put this up to show you guys where I am at and get some ideas from some members. I bought this car when I was 15 (Oct of 98). It has gone thru a lot changes and I am finally growing up and getting it where I want it to be. I've tried to clean it up a bit and get away from the cheap add ons. I'm in the process of redoing the interior and adding some modern touches. I am also looking to replace the existing hood and pins with a stock iroc/z28 hood. I have been researching HID upgrades as I have them in my grand cherokee and love them. Also on my list is a 5.3 LS motor swap with a 6speed. My final goal with this is to have reliable fast street car with some modern features. I want a clean pro-touring type setup on somewhat of a budget. |

Re: 1985 Z28 input and suggestions Your car is beautiful man. When you get your new wheels, you can send your Iroc 18's to me. :) I love em' I can tell you went with the clean look for your paint and body, but I think it would look great with the black and silver Iroc stripe kit and Iroc decal back on the doors |
Re: 1985 Z28 input and suggestions I am torn on the wheels and would love to keep the Iroc wheels, but with a 4th gen rear the backspacing will be off. I won't ever put Iroc decals on it as its a z28 and does not have the Iroc package. Thanks for the kind words. |
