Damn, scariest moment of my life. Last Saturday I was taking the Hazel Ave. off ramp coming from Folsom, I took the first turn ok, then the last turn is about 25mph, but I was going about 80mph or so. The car started to slid and I tried to steer out of it, and well, it was all over from there, see the pics.

87tpi 02-25-2006 01:56 AM

wills83z28cfi 02-25-2006 02:01 AM

Lol, ya it was fine, once it was towed out we drove it around a parking lot and inspected it, then I drove it home and everything is perfect, it's a thirdgen miracle, lol. The thirdgen G*o*d*s were watching over me.

TraviZ 02-25-2006 02:06 AM

i bet if it had subframes it would have rolled.

wills83z28cfi 02-25-2006 02:08 AM

Ya I think so too, the soft ground helped too. The sweet part is my dad felt so bad he bought me 4 new tires, BFGoodrich KDWS, WOOT!!!

TraviZ 02-25-2006 02:09 AM

hey i have those too!

maybe your dad wouldnt have felt bad if he didnt get you all liquered up!

wills83z28cfi 02-25-2006 02:14 AM

Lol, that's true, but let's not talk about that here you stupid bish.

vindeezl 02-25-2006 02:22 AM

HOLY **** was that a close one!

If it was raining you might not still be the proud owner of it and having to deal with shady insurance companies (like I did).

Was the Mrs. in the car? I bet you'll never hear the end of that

porkyzilla 02-25-2006 05:06 AM

drinkin and driving is fun this shows you

too bad it wasnt rolled the damn cross fire pos would have been off the road lol

urbanhunter44 02-25-2006 06:01 AM

wow, close one will. Glad you're alright!

wills83z28cfi 02-25-2006 01:37 PM

Vin, I was alone in the car when it happened. It sucked, cost me $220 to have it towed out, and ya I still have not heard the end of it, lol. Oh well, me and the car are ok, and I got a set of new tires out of it.

ckjoshz28 02-25-2006 01:41 PM

i would of been scared to get out of that thing. LOL

glad everythings ok

OUTATIME GTA 02-25-2006 06:19 PM

TMoNeE 02-25-2006 07:00 PM

vexter 02-25-2006 10:29 PM

Glad you're alright, Will!!!

wills83z28cfi 02-27-2006 02:54 AM

Thanks Aaron, glad to hear you are coming up for the Tahoe meet. It will be good to see you and your car again, it has been a very long time.

vindeezl 02-27-2006 03:54 AM

The important thing is that you and the hot rod CFI are still in one piece.

Would I park my car on a dirt embankment for a new set of tires? WITH BEER?

YOU BETTER BE-FUK'N-LIEVE IT!

So I say good work Big Willie Style!

T$$$, Turns at 80 are fun!!! (when you have z-rated tires that is)

wills83z28cfi 02-27-2006 05:15 AM

Lol, thanks Vin. I did have Z rated tires, problem was I took a 25mph turn at 80mph, lol. Oh well, Dad felt bad and gave me some new Z rated tires. Lol, ya I was definetely livin it up that day, trust me, that's all I am going to say. :lmao:

Cadillac 02-28-2006 11:28 AM

I swear, our cars are like sleds in water/snow. I don't even go past 2K revs when it's damp.

Glad nothing bad happened...

ratrodjon 03-01-2006 09:09 PM

A-****in-men to that one. Fresno's all nice and flat. Besides, taking a turn at 80??? Geesus... You're nuts. You should 60. tops.

TraviZ 03-03-2006 12:46 AM

wills83z28cfi 03-04-2006 02:15 PM

Lol, you guys are funny. It's amazing how all of the sudden everyone is a expert driver in this post, like they have never done anything stupid before, especially when you are young. Anyway, yes it was retarted, but I did learn my lesson, so no harm done except for a $220 tow bill, lol.

Firebreed 03-04-2006 10:05 PM

Hey ive done my share.. i fact i did preaty much two donuts in the middle of a street cause of bald tires and rain  scared the **** out of me, mostly cause i didn't expect it. got new tires the next day :D

JMJ2003 03-05-2006 02:15 AM

Ummm... I had a 01 lifted Silverado dual cab and flipped it back in Nov. of 04. I walked away with a few bruises and a major headache b/c of the *** chewing I got from my folks, but I was alive and kicking.

Haven't done anything in my Firebird that's been MY fault... Did get hit back in Oct by a little old guy who tried to run away but I chased him down... He gave me 500 cash and than took off. :)

An ex boyfriend was F'N around a bit too much in his 70 Camaro and got us in a wreck. He was driving...

But nope... Never drove any car off the road. Flipping+driving= different. LOL.

Isn't drove the past tense of driving? :D

My IROC is good luck because it was already wrecked before I got it so it wants to stay out of trouble.

Turns at 60 max? pfft I'll take turns at 100+ ask some of the other folks on the board, quite a few guys have been for a ride in my car and joined the "OMFG vin just tacked out the speedo (crap themselves)" club, some are board members haha.

urbanhunter44 03-05-2006 01:37 PM

yeah he pinned the speedo for me.

I pinned my Z28 last night. It was stuck at 155+ in 5th gear. dunno how accurate it is at that speed, but it was stuck there.

Great. Now when the apocalpyse happens and Northern California turns into a wasteland like in "Road Warrior", you'll be good to go.

urbanhunter44 03-05-2006 02:31 PM

actually i think vin's two tone paint job fits more with that apocalyptic future than mine would.

Hey Vinny, are you ****ing English teacher? If not, lay off my grammer... And kiss my royal Italian ***. :D

BTW, turns at 100+mph? Yeah, you're freakin' nuts. Like my boyfriend. That's why he NEVER, I repeat, NEVER drives my car. Atleast with me in it. I'm beautiful. And getting in a car wreck could possibly wreck my gorgeousness. LOL. Just kidding!

<3

OUTATIME GTA, Ouch! You hurt my rather gigantic ego... NOT. LoL.
Besides, I was just kidding.

Brandon, yeah, I'm like 75% Northern Italian. The other quarter is Spanish. How I came out blonde hair green eyed... Your guess is as good as mine. (Maybe I was adopted. LOL)

OUTATIME GTA 03-05-2006 11:21 PM

I know you were kidding, so was I.

urbanhunter44 03-05-2006 11:40 PM
