Actually, I just moved from Lenexa to Raymore (just off 58 hwy/71 hwy)

I picked the car up a few months back for a good price. It needs
some minor body work (from GFX cracked and a few tiny
dents) . I've enjoyed it so far.

What color, I may have seen you before. And BTW I drive a maroon '91 Bird.

Blue - with gold accents (all factory)

I work downtown - so you may see (or more likely hear) me
buzzing up and down US71 from time to time. I used to own
a 95 (green) bird - and was quite active with the local MOFBA
group for a few years.

That's cool to find someone that's close around here. Yeah I am now an active memeber of MOFBA with the same screen name.

If I ever see you I'll wave or say whassup. :waveman:

The group kinda fell apart last winter when most of us were laid off. I really havn't been back since due to changes in my personal life. (house, baby, etc .. )

Well they seem to be back up and running, although I don't know what it was like before. I hear ya on the personal stuff, although I don't have to worry about that yet.

Hey im only about 50 miles south of Wichita. I would be interested in gettng together.

How about the last weekend in January of 2007. The 27th-28th I believe.

We could converge on a shopping center parking lot or the like, and celebrate Kansas' birthday in style.

Yeah, the weather will probably suck, but if there's no snow or ice, I'd be up for it.

how about this i dont know what side of town you guys are on but thers is this un-used parking lot next to town west that a friend of mine used for his extreme neons club lame i know i think it woul hold enough cars but we might need permision unless some else can think of an idea it would be best if it was easy to get the property or parking lot to use mabey a public park and close to a major landmark so it can be found but what do i know through out your ideas

I like where birdsgonnafly is going with this.

I would like to make the suggestion of a Spangles or Backyard Burger car show. We could all just show up at a place like that, and not have to worry about trespassing or permission and such.

Come on, guys. Post up if you wanna do this, and we'll be more inclined to help put it together. You don't have to do anything, but just tell us you would come and we'll try to do the rest.

I'm gonna start by suggesting January 29th, 2007. There is a Spangles on the west side(2310 N. Maize Rd, Wichita, 67205), easy enough to find off of K-96. They have shows every friday night.
If you get off K-96 at Maize Rd, you can head straight north into Wichita and it's right there at 21st.

I found out today that the spangles wont start till around march or april but thats still but unless you have heard other wise i might be wrong but we could still show up to that spangles as long as were no causing any trouble no one should bother us and a guy i work with has a fourth gen (cleanest one ive seen totaly imaclate still has the plastic on the floor mats) and knows guys with quite a few f bodys but get the word out to your friend lets aim for Jan 29 tell ever one you know second gen or fourth gen lets just all get together just dont bring your mustang friends

Ive been asking around and got a bunch of mixed answers about back yard burgers or spangles is still going on does any one know? that info would get a good start in puting down some thing final

I'd be down for a get together. I might have to drive my 02, but if the weather is decent i'd drive my 92. Don't be thinkin for one second i'm one of "those" fourth gen guys, my 92 runs 11's :)

Hello everyone. I'm in the Wichita also. Keep me up to date on the plans with the get together. I'll try to make it and hopefully my car will be nice by then too. I rear ended someone the other day on Rock Road and I almost cried. I damaged my bumper and hood, so hopefully I'll get those parts replaced soon.

Yea rock road is scary. I almost got hit coming out of walmart turning onto rock road headed toward kellogg.

Ill have to drive somthing else but ill be there. Just got a primer/roller right now under construction.

by the time this comes arround mine will be in primer so if it doesnt look the best bring it anyway im driving around with a cowl in the gelcoat and the rivits holding it down showing

but the time is looking more like it will be the 26th around 7 pm

Hey guys. I'm from Wichita talkin from Korea. I'll be back in Dec 07 and I need to find a spot to install some Aftermarket suspension parts for my 89 when I get back. I would do it myself, but I only have so much time before I have to report to my next duty station. Any Idea's. I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.

what parts need installed? I've done all my suspension upgrades on my 92 by myself. How much time you got when you get back, and where is you next duty station? I'm just north of wichita in Valley Center but i work on the base. Let me know if i could help you out.

I get back around the 5th of Dec and I'll be back through New Years. I'm still waiting on my springs to arrive at my parents house though. I've got my struts already, and am looking to replace all the springs, but haven't heard from the guy I bought from on ebay(f*%$ing ebay). Headed to Ft Campbell.

Hey Guys, Another off KSFBA.ORG. I would like to get out and see everyone elses rides. Mine is a POS in the works of being something great. Just getting the mechanicals right first before the body and intereor. So if you see that red w/ a white door 84 z28 putting don't laugh.

Also got a guy on here that I bought a gauge set from that took the money a ran. I put a claim on paypal but will never see it. So if any of you have a spare gauge cluster I will be willing to buy it.

I've got a 145 cluster (the speedo ticks two or three miles an hour over 60 or so, IIRC. I haven't had it in the car for a while) with a factory trip odometer fix. $75 shipped to you.

Hi guys its my first post on this site thought i would put it here Im from Wichita . I work at Bullseye collision in Haysville. Just got my TA ,put on some wheels and im ready to start tackling the suspension paint and motor . Anyone have any pics of there stuff from Wichita or close?
