Hey guys, did we ever decide where & when? we're going to meet????

And are we going to Estes Park or are we going to Red Rocks or Colorado Springs?...

:hmmm: just curious...we're already into mid-month.....Ok laters, gotta get to bed...have an appt. in Golden @ Sixth West Ave Estates after 5pm. need sleep. Yall wish me luck....I want this deal!!!! Well, tonight I'm probably going to be at the Sonic on Federal (around 94th or so) eating ice cream & checking out all the hot new street machines that have showed up. Other than that, I'm open to suggestions...

OK, Sonic rocked tonight - here's just a taste of what you guys missed...

My pro/am is getting some upgrades, so I am kinda busy with that.
I am willing to meet up with people, but its kinda hard to plan one day before the event.

I agree that we should plan something in advance, and meet up. mr. rumble next time you go to sonic let me know. We can meet up and cruise down there!

We should really put our heads together on this one and get something set up. I'm still down for a cruise someone just tell me where to go!:) Even if we had to meet at house, or a burger joint lets try to get everyone there. I say everyone just post up an idea and we'll work with whats put out there.

c'mon folks! lets get something going here! I am down to volunteer my house for a meeting, but ya'll know its almost wyoming. I am still ok with coming to the big city hang out with all, but lets set a time an date. Post an idea for a meeting place - any idea is better than no idea at all.

Ok guys once again I'm opening my house for our meeting, now lets set a date and get together. I work on saturdays till 5:00, but I am always in the mood for a get together so lets get it going. Whats good for everyone else? We have a new member, The third gen bug bit my stepson and he was pretty impressed at all the fine cars our members have he was asking when the next meeting is so post up lets get a date for a meeting

My car is down, but I will show to what ever meeting is set up. Plus I've been really busy.....

Yeah Russ G. only shows up at his house. It would be funny if we decided to meet at Russ's house and he didn't show up:D .

All joking aside, it would be awsome to meet at somebodys house.

I just had another thought (don't roll your eyes like that!) - instead of just meeting up & BS'ing, maybe we could include a minor "project" while we're meeting, on those days when we're not cruising to somewhere.

Specifically, I'm thinking of porting the TPI plenum for those members who may not have done it yet - I don't yet have a die grinder, but I do have the carbide bits that I bought when I ported mine (I also have a couple extra sets of eye protection! ;) )...

I dunno, it would be fairly quick for each one, wouldn't cost anything, would be directly related to 3rdgen performance, & would be educational to those who are just getting started...

I threw this out at the last meeting so here we go. The Goodguys rod and custom show is at the Budwieser events center next weekend. This is a three day event starts on friday 2nd, and ends sunday. This is the largest rod and custom show in Colorado. There is all kinds of places to eat (Colorados largest Hooters) in the area around the events center. We could all meet at a restraunt, then hit the show up for the rest of the afternoon. For the guys that might have ladies that might not be interested in an all day car thing, there is a huge shopping complex, and outlet mall. I'm going at least one of the days.

Oh HELL yeah - if we can go on Sat. (or maybe even Fri.), I am there.

Assuming that the body shop ever finishes with our car..!!! :gocrazy:

(I don't think that I can have the GTA all ready to go in just a week... :( )

I plan on going, but I might not have a car than. Maybe someone can pick me up or sumtin. I am like 5 mins. away from downtown.

One good thing is that we are posting and being active. This is just going to get better.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering I AM KEEPING MY CAR. I thought I had an engine problem, but just a cracked flywheel was not a problem. My bellhousing two bottom bolts were hand tight and thats why, I think, the flywheel cracked. So, I am getting it done on monday by a shop (my dad is helping me pay for it. He is making up for lying to me about helping me with the Z28 that I was looking at).

Anyway, I am gonna talk to RUss if he does not make it here soon, see if he is still up for a meeting.

I am pretty sure that I can make there, but won't be able to bring the car. I have aquired some new issues to work out that won't allow it to make it all the way down there. I have no clue where Russ's house is so I will need good directions (for the non big city boy). Keep me in the loop.:nod:
