Procharger belt length. Hopefully you guys can help me out. My belt is now in belt heaven, it shredded so I can't get the belt length I'm running the largest pulley(I assume), like 6#'s of boost. P1-SC unit. Someone help me out with a belt size, it sucks driving with no blower lol |
Re: Procharger belt length. use some string or masking tape in place of the belt, subtract a little bit to account for tensioner travel, and measure the length of tht - then order your new belt |
Re: Procharger belt length. Yeah I could do that too, didn't think of that. I was hoping someone had a few numbers they could give me so I could order up a few belts and try them. |
Re: Procharger belt length. String method is going to be your best bet. |
Re: Procharger belt length. Ok, thanks guys. |
Re: Procharger belt length. P1SC w/8" 8-rib crank pulley setup... Drive Pulley Diameter, ProCharger Part#, Belt Length... 4.25" - DB660I-8 - 66.0" 4.00" - DB653I-8 - 65.25" 3.70" - DB645I-8 - 64.50" 3.40" - DB645I-8 - 64.50" |
Re: Procharger belt length. That's what I was looking for, thanks man! I assume the 4.25'' is the 6# pulley? |

Re: Procharger belt length. You rock. |
Re: Procharger belt length. DO NOT!!!! go by the length printed on the bel, I have had this issue, a bunch of difference between the manufacturers. Check the number on the manuf site/catalog and check the actual length. |
Re: Procharger belt length. It least gives me an area to start at, I'll get a few belts around that length and start trying them. |

Re: Procharger belt length. you think i would be able to pull of a 61.5" belt on a 3.4" pully? |
Re: Procharger belt length. 3.40 inch pulley here with the 64.5" belt. With the tensioner (who designed that!?) all the way it still is a little loose.. -- Joe |
