Wonderbar Question.............

Hey all,

Just a quick question..........been thinking about picking one of these up since my B4C car doesn't have one. In looking at how it works by tying the front subframe together, I have to ask, doesn't the front swaybar kinda do the same thing? I realize it moves slightly, but I figured it would still do the job.

I might be missing something, so any help is appreciated.

Re: Wonderbar Question.............

No, the swaybar bushings only fit around the swaybar & is able to slide side to side. It offers virtually no resistance to the flexing of the frame... Does about as much good as an appliance plugged in does to hold a wall in place.

Re: Wonderbar Question.............

I didn't understand until I actually put mine on. The sway bar offers no support to the frame rails since it is able to slide back and forth in its bushings. The wonderbar connects the two frame rails together using the same holes the sway bar bushings use.

Re: Wonderbar Question.............

Hey guys,

Makes sense now with the swaybar moving in the bushings........I'll pick one up and hopefully make the car feel a little more solid!
