Re: S 10 manual steering box install help. The S10 pitman arm will work but it's a different length. It will change the steering geometry slightly. I think the main change will be the turning radius. Trouble with keeping the S10 pitman arm is that the idler arm on the other side will be the wrong length. Again, it screws up steering geometry mostly in turns. For those of us who mainly do straight line acceleration with very little turns, the S10 pitman arm will do just fine. If you want to use it in a street car then the F-body pitman arm is highly recommended. |
