Car is running rough

I bought this car 6 months ago but only recently put it on the road. I took the top part of the engine off to fix an intake gasket leak and to re furbish the heads. The car ran pretty good when I got it all put back together. It had a slight miss every once in a while but ran smooth. 4 days ago that slight miss turned into chugging and rough idle. The engine nearly cuts out but catches itself just in time.I put new wires on (taylor 8 mm), good quality wires. I checked and they all seem to be on tight. This only seems to happen after the car warms up.I also spotted coolant leaking from the back of the motor. I'm not sure if these problems are related or not.The check engine light doesn't come on(it is working, lights up for a second when starting car). Anyone got any ideas? Its a 1990 LB9.....
