ROCKER ARM CLEARANCE

Recently I have been working on a 350 ci engine purchased from ebay equippped with new Dart Iron Eagle Heads, later purchased Crane Cam roller rockers, Im having an issue witrh clearance. I don`t know what brand the springs are or if they came as a set with Lunati cam that was installed, or if the heads were purchased assembled.I was wondering if anybody has aver come across this clearance issue before?

Where are you having clearance issues? Spring to rocker? Rocker to valve cover? Have the correct length pushrods?

Valve to spring, they wont go on to the stud without extra effort. the engine was equipped with roller tip rockers when purchased

Re: ROCKER ARM CLEARANCE

Now I am really confused.... Are you trying to put the springs on the studs? Or, will the rockers not go down far enough on the stud that you can get the nuts on?

Re: ROCKER ARM CLEARANCE

the spring seems to be too fat to allow the rocker to go down on the stud. The rockers do not go down far enough to to bolt them on
