Pushrod length & Guide Plates????

Bought some aluminum corvette heads..and self aligning crane 1.5 gold roller rockers.

Do I use stock pushrods? Do I need to install pushrod guides. I have an 88 formula 350 with hyd roller cam.

Thanks for your help.

You have to use stock length hardened pushrods if you install guideplants. I was under the impression all aluminum l98 heads came with guideplates and screw in studs already.

The screw in studs are there but I don't see any guide plates of course I'm assuming they mount under the screw in studs right???

Just aluminum from what I can see. About ready to remove the valve covers from my original L98 350 to see what the stock setup looks like.

Thanks for the reply!

What you need to know about the rockers & guide plates...

You do not need to change the push rods because of the rocker & head change. You meay need different ones for other reasons. If your cam is small, less than .310" lobe lift or so, your stock push rods should be OK.
