IAC valve

After a two year battle with a Idle & Stalling problem, I finally replaced the IAC & Plug connector (both original & 16yrs old) and this cured my problem finallly. No more Low idle after restarting and stalling. One less headach. That valve was not worth taking apart and cleaning ( big time carbon build up) same for the plug connector.:D :D Thanks to the guys that gave me the P/N's to track down these parts:hail:

The IAV wasn't worth taking apart and cleaning? Was the pintle damaged? Other than that or failed stepper coils, there should be no reason an IAC can't be salvaged.

Just old age (16yrs) and not worth the effort on the old part.
