i just bought the e6gm ecu anyone done the conversion to map? mine is maf powered could anyone give me the details as to which ecm pinout you tap into to connect the three wires also your thoughts on the ecu capabilities on controlling tpi from what i understand it dosent control emmisions or ses but is very adjustable with cars that have been modified any thoughts?

I love mine.

Install was simple, had to re-pin either one or two pins (can't remember which) on the ECM connector and tap into a 5+V reference for the new MAP sensor. Did you not get the manual with your Haltech showing the wiring chart in the back?

no didnt get the manual i bought it second hand what did you do with emmisions ?air ,egr dosent worry me they are deleted from my engine but canister is the only worry since it has to purge during idle i think, i dont want to be caught having a canister filled with raw fuel did you delete canister if yes which way did you go by doing it any input would be appreciated since its going to be a new project for me with the haltech thanks

I had removed all emissions stuff by the time the Haltech went in. As far as the canister I don't think you need to even touch it. I'll look into it cause thats an interesting question.

yeah it definately dosent control the canister i saw the ecm pinouts i wonder if we could just remove it but i think the hoses that are routed help the tank from vapour lock
