twin blade vs. single oval blade

I installed a SuperRam not too long ago and I'm still stuck with the 48mm TB. I can have it bored out to 52mm or into a single oval blade TB. I have to measure to know what size would it end up being as a single blade unit. What's the difference between the twin blade design and the single blade? Should I keep the twin blades? Is there a difference in flow or intake manifold matching or something...? Thanks

For your application, a 52mm tbody is best suited. A mono blade tbody is for a large cubic inch motor that needs some serious airflow.

The problem with a mono blade is that the transition from closed to open is very dramatic and can cause part throttle driveability problems.

Well, I guess I'll just go with the twin blades then. THanks
