Passenger valve cover 1 Attachment(s) Where is the crankcase vent on your passenger side valve cover (front or rear)? I am replacing tall chrome covers that came with the car, and it's port was on the rear. But nearly all of the pictures I have found show the port to be up front, closer to the TB just like the TBI trucks have. |
Re: Passenger valve cover It really doesn't matter. GM ran em toward the back on carb and early TPI cars, TBI too I'd assume. Later TPI cars they're toward the front. |
Re: Passenger valve cover Cool, so that little contraption I assume they did, to extend the hose, isnt GM factory. |
Re: Passenger valve cover Right. The molded part is, it's late TPI and not reproduced, so don't throw that away. A stock TPI setup with the rear location has a long steel tube and a short steel tube, with rubber couplers. It runs between the valve cover and injectors. |
