Tightening valve cover bolts.

Can you easily get to all the bolts to get them tight them without taking anything else off? I'd hate to take one thing off just to tighten the valve covers down.

If they're leaking, you're probably going to have to pull the intake to replace the gaskets. Otherwise, you might be able to get to the nuts with a minimum of a 10mm deep socket, a u-joint to match, and some patience.

They are fairly easy to replace. I had to remove my carb and that was it. I had the gaskets changed in about 2hrs. Its not bad it just takes a while.

i tried it, it's unbelievable, but you'll be better off replacing the gaskets and removing everything in the process to make it easier.

Carb and fuel injection are two completely different setups. and like everyone else said, if youre leaking, tightening the nuts wont help you for long, youre better off replacing them. its not as bad as you think. just get a haynes manual if you dont already have one and follow it step by step. just make sure you get your vacuum lines on and off carefully, theyre probably brittle.
