3.8l v6

this may be a stupid question but would the 3.8l v6 from an old Buick Regal bolt in to a 3rd gen? would it be worth the effort? i'm not considering it right now. the thought just kinda popped into my head

If your going to go through the trouble of swapping and freshening everything up, I would just slap a 350 or sumthing or other. It wouldnt be worth it. A carb. 350 can drop in easily, you'll need to change your motor mounts and the trannsmission crossmember, hope this inspired you, Charlie.

QA1 shocks. Energy suspension bushings. 350 TPI, 700R4 trans with a shift-kit. 3:73 Posi rear-end(soon to be an eaton posi).

Yes, they bolt in with GM supplied parts. They were used in the '89 Firebird of a particular model.

There is a sticky at the top of the page concerning engine swaps that answers this question....

i was just asking. i never planned on getting rid of my 2.8. i was just curious. and the stuff in the stick seemed to be referring to FWD engines if i'm not mistaken. i'm probably wrong. i'm not much of a GM guy. i just really like 3rd gens. :)
