We need more info....people ask this question all the time without bothering to mention whether or not its cranking, and if cranking, whether or not its at least firing and trying to start, if it doesn't crank is there a clicking sound from the starter attempting to turn it over etc. Try spraying some starter fluid into the intake tract and see if it starts, or at least fires if it wasn't firing before.

Distributor module, coil, fuel pump, fuel pump relay (check fuse) and/or connections to all these things are the usual suspects. I just had to replace the coil and module cuz mine died that way. It started up again after it cooled down, which might suggest the coil, but I replaced both to be sure. I now have the old ones in my tool/spares box that I carry in the car.

Right now I'm fighting the same thing. I repaired the transmission mount and replaced the gauge oil pressure sender and now the POS won't start. I've just started going thru the basics. I know I have spark cuz it started and ran when I poured a bit of gas into the throttle body. So it's a fuel problem. I just checked the fuel filter and I have fuel at both sides of it (not a positive test, but at least the lines aren't dry....I think I'll replace that cuz I have no idea how old/dirty it is, but it'll wait until I make a parts run.

I made sure that the oil pressure/fuel pump relay was securely fastened and it was. I even jumpered across the contacts of the connector which should cause the relay to energize and start the pump. (At least according to the electrical diagrams.) I dunno if it started the fuel pump, but the motor wouldn't start.

I guess my next step is to disconnect the output side of the filter and see if I get gas pumped through when I try to start the motor.

This is gettin pretty wearisome, cuz I've got a race car to finish for the salt flats in September. I only have 48 more days to do it.

After a couple of hours going thru the schematics, I found a reference to "Inline Fuse Number 3." I remembered seeing fuses near the battery when I was checking fusible links. Sure enough. Twenty amp fuse was blown. Now I know why you shouldn't run a jumper across the oil pressure fuel pump sensor. That circuit is hot all the time and the pump will run even when the IGN is switched off.

4g63, you may want to look at those fuses...right near the passenger side fender, close to the battery.

Just an aside, A friend came to help me with the race car today and we got it ALMOST to the point of firing up. A little more wiring work with the ignition box and we'll see if the motor will live or die.
