I know this might sound kinda dumb, but when our cars have those 'Trans Am GTA' badges on them, I can't stand seeing any other wheels on them besides the GOLD crosslaces. Firebird, Formula and Trans Am? I don't care.
To me, the gold wheels and badges are what makes our cars stand out from others... it's what makes a Trans Am GTA a Trans Am GTA.

Before and after pics of mine after this summer, next summer will have more with it all back together with stripes and door moldings.
Perfection!!!! I had exactly the same color combo in a Z28-E. It was a rolling chassis and I sold it. Stupid me, should have kept it. IT was a solid car with only a few little problems. Regret selling it still.

Thanks, Twin_Turbo
I'm very excited about owning this car, been in the family since bought off the showroom floor in Germany. I'm just trying to bring it back to it's glory. Like yours it only has a few little problems, faded paint being one of them. Well back track, I suppose a paint job isn't so much a little problem, it was a lot of work. Having the original person that bought it(dad), have the chance of repainting it was priceless.

So am I actually, educational guess maybe European Model. Not sure where I got the info but European models were equipped with hotter cams, than others.
My base 88 305 TBI the day we painted it. This is hands down the best picture from any vehicle I have ever owned. This still clearly doesn't have the time and effort that some of the cars being posted on here has, but man the excitement I felt on this day when we painted it, was like Christmas day when you're a kid. I'm probably going to be painting my iroc this same way since I plan on selling this soon.
Some beautiful cars here.
Mine started as a $500.00 wreck.
A lot of parts came from "Pick N Pull".
The first two photos are just before I found the Forth Gen. Seats at a wreaking yard.

I love that color... it reminds me of 'Viper Blue'.
