Really surprised nobody came up with a kit for this version.

Someone at Pontiac had a real hard-on for the Kammback. They built 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen examples. Of all the things to turn into a station wagon, I'm not sure why they kept looking to the Firebird.

Maybe they thought they might catch a part of the family car market.

But honey, I bought a station wagon like you requested.

 

I found another Kamm back camaro someone made here in tampa. Looked like they did a better job than what is pictured.

This is what happens when you put two cases of beer, a welder, some junk cars and a weekend with nothing to do. Monday you wake up sober to this sitting in the back yard. Time enough to load it on the trailer and to the crusher.

 

Damn what a waste of a bunch of fine cars! But I guess if I had to drive a station wagon then id have to have one of those 80s Pontiac Trans AM Kamelbacks with an L98!

 

They're all ugly but the thirdgen one looks the best out of the bunch.

 

The comment "they broke the mold & beat the mold maker" comes to mind.

 

Not even Corvettes were spared from this treatment.

I almost bought a C3 Kammback probably 15years ago. $2300, 2 hours too late.

 

There was a company that made a kit for the transformation. Quite a few C3's got the treatment. Some were tastful others not so much.

 

I'm surprised no one has commented on the price of the car in the ad that I posted. Ugly as sin with a price tag of 125k. Crazy.

 

I was thinking the exact same thing, who in their right mind would pay that? It's funny what a set of ugly wheels will do to a car. I used to think these were kind of cool looking but seeing all the different ones here, I think they're pretty ugly. With this one here did anyone else think the fitment is horrible?

 

125k make me puke. Id be suprised if the car brought half that.

 

That Third Gen Pontiac wagon design is pretty/very weird looking but I'd love to have one as it would come in handy for the extra room in the car. I've known people in the past who had third gens and you can't fit hardly anything in them. At least with the Pontiac third gen wagon, there would be some room for stuff to fit inside the car. But if I really wanted a wagon, the one I'd go out of my way to get is a classic smog exempt vista cruiser

LOL when reading the reference to this design as a "treatment". First thing that comes to mind is a sewage facility.

 

Has anyone seen one of these in person? Why is the B-pillar not part of the quarter panel?

Nah, no worries there. I never seen one in person. But I do have that magazine from Performance Pontiac somewhere packed away!
