Here is the Trans Am we are planning to take to Nurburgring as I discussed at the meeting. Berk is back in Istanbul for a year. As soon as I get back from my Texas trip we will plan for my visit there to shake the car down on local tracks then take it up to Nurburgring during my 3 week stay. This has been a few years in the planning. Berk was my partner/co-pilot at Toyota Speedway last year in the NoD race events. (Note his shirt...lol- he has drive the ring several times already in a BMW M3)

Here is a pic of he and the car a few years ago. The current shop pics are from a few months ago. The new cage is being fabbed in some reputable/famous race shop in Europe. the build has take a while but should be done in a few more months. Berk needs to get the electronic /dash in order (He has a Masters degree in Mechatronics)

I was REALLY looking forward to coming and meeting all of you SoCal guys as Im a bit of a noob here. But unfortunately, after 3 months and 1500$ in repairs my car is still not quite there. Bummer. I'm in the process of rebuying tools after mine were stolen. I'm gonna get to wrenching myself and throw this VATS in a lake haha. Hope to see everyone at the next meetup!

What is wrong with your vats? Do you want to bypass it?

After seeing some people on Third Gen.org buying European cars and having a great ol' time with them, I decided to do the same. I ditched my Camaro and bought a 1997 SAAB 900S convertible 5 speed. Great car with a strong little 4 banger (non-turbo). No oil leaks, no rust, never wrecked.
Re: SC3G August Meet, Cruise, & Bonfire Sunday August 7, 2016 @ 2PM
Damn, you saw right through that one didn't you. But I did get the SAAB though. I was going to flip it by replacing all the tired components but SAABs at this time, don't have that much value. So I'm keeping it for a while. Gives me a chance to test out Amsoil produts to see if they really are all that.

A follow up post. My trip is booked in June and heading to Europe. His car is almost finished and I am flying over there to help set it up and shake it down. We have the trip bought and planned for Nurburgring.

Unfortunately these are very few locals here in So Calif that do a damn thing racing wise with their cars. Lots of **** taking, lots of rivalries, lots of butt hurt feelings of inadequacy. Funny how I am still the ONLY guy in So Calif still helping others for free promoting track events and not trying to make a buck or be some kind of club king pin.Yet when around any of these clubs it seems Im the guy everyone wants to try and put down behind my back. Kind of why I like rubbing these posts into everyones faces...Get off you sofa's people- performance cars are for performance, not garage queen keyboard racing. Even of you can't go help someone else who is....but hey, thats club mentality now days. Clubs used to be about everyone helping eachother for free. Now its about making a buck.

Hi, ok, i need to come by ur place in Anaheim now. Received the kit but should have gone with the deluxe bcuz as soon as it arrived my other headlight started not popping up on the first try. I know i was forewarned, but actually the headlights are the least of my worries. My car has been hesitating and often stalling from stops for a year now. I have spent $300, $2450 and $1250 at 3 different shops in exactly 12 months now, and it is worse than ever. I think it is a vacuum leak (which i was told there was a slight one when i bought the car 3 years ago but these expensive mechanics deny), clogged cat, bad ECM, or even a short. The problem is intermittent (about 65% of the time) and only occurs when the check engine light randomly comes on. It idles and runs perfectly the rest of the time. This car has never failed to start the first turn of the key in 30 below zero Montana or the 130 degree desert we currently live. I have replaced the idle air control twice, knock sensor, map sensor, throttle position sensor, coolant temp sensor, distributor, oil leaking on oxygen sensor, and that's just off the top of my head. I am no longer enjoying the car, can't remember the last time i took the t-tops off, am sick of reading so many thousands of hours of stuff on this that in my head i'm a mechanic. I surrender, its not going to think its way fixed. Can i get an appointment to see u? I know u r busy and its an almost 2 hr drive to u, but i am at my wits end. Everytime someone says nice car (which is every day lol), its all i can do lately not to say here take it, its yours. Sorry, realized after this post turned into a book that i prob should have private msg'd u. Thank You, Tatiana
