The reason I ask is because there are 2 different parts. They will interchange with each other but one is smooth(2 tone paint) and the other is textured (solid color cars).
I had a piece like that on the front of my Camaro that someone hit a curb with and broke half off, so i took it completely off and haven't been able to find a replacement since, it didn't look 100% like that but it went under the front nose and then met the lower fenders. My car is a non gfx car. If anyone knows what I am talking about or where i can get it i would appreciate it.

Its not that piece, its more like a front valance. It goes from the driver fender across to the passenger fender, maybe this piece? Not 100% sure because mine was 50% broken but it was finished and painted like the car and you could see it as it went between the fenders and was contoured to match on the ends, almost like hidden ground effects? i can't find it anywhere
that could possibly be it, im not sure, if i saw it mounted i could tell. Anyone else have any idea what im talking about? Sorry for hijacking this thread btw

This piece did not look like that, it was wider and more flat, and slightly curved to match the fenders and to scoop some air maybe. I will keep looking and watch cars at junk yards and craigslist and hopefully come across it one day. Thank you for your help though.

ThirdGen1984: The air dam (or "valance") that your looking for will need to come from an 82-84 Camaro or Berlinetta. No other type/style will fit properly. What side do you need ?? ( send me a PM )
Sorry armybyrd; I don't have the Firebird style valance that your looking for. Pretty sure all Firebird Coupes used the same type until 90 or so when the nose changed.
