4l80e?

To all with some knowledge of 4l80es, are they all the same or are some different than others ? I'm planning on doing the swap just want to make sure I get the right one . and will a 4th Gen drive shafts bolt up to it and a 4th Gen rear end or are changes needed to be done to fit?

I just got one to put in my 86 c10. Haven't done the swap yet but I had to get a th400 driveshaft yoke for the trans end.

Mine came out of a 72 nova I put a t56 in. It's a custom Hugh's trans with stand alone controller so I can put it behind a carbed vortec sbc.
