The windshield is actually supported during install by small rubber blocks about 1/4" thick that sit on top of two stamped wedges below the windshield. To date I've never seen a glass repair guy reuse them, but they're there from the factory.
That would be the wiper arm parking stop, but the rubber install blocks are gone in that photo. The rubber shrinks a bit with age and the blocks fall out easily enough. The support for them is obvious if you know what you're looking at...
The wiper stop just keeps the wiper from sliding off the bottom of the windshield in park.
Ahh so there should be only 1... Then I don't have anything missing. The cowl screen is not installed and I couldn't figure out why there was only one.
In Malta you prob don't need it, but the screen is important if the car is parked anywhere with trees. Leaves and needles get in there, trap water then the firewall rust from inside out. Kills a lot of f bodies.
