First time posting on thirdgen been a member for years with this account and an old one 85bandittransam.

Im letting my toy go so that i can find my perfect car id like to find either a 5spd 305tpi ttop 86 trans am with recaro seats and uq7 speaker package or an 87 trans am gta with 5spd 305tpi and saddle interior. Both car would need to be black or white no rust as original as possible.

My car that is for sale is a 1988 hardtop firebird trans am gta it has the 5.7L98 tpi v8 engine and the 4spd 700r4 automatic with 3:27 posi disc rear end. It is a real gta and the service parts identification label with all factory rpo codes is still present in the centre console.

Ive owned this gta about a year and a half, bought from a friend who had it since 2010. Car was repainted from clear peeling in may of 2011 and is all original except paint and seats. Originally it was cloth but was swapped for a slightly faded set of leather gta seats from an 89. The hood and hatch were replaced due to the bodyshop thinking the 89 parts car that my buddy had, had better panels. I still have the original hood and hatch.

The car has new brakes all around, tires, front suspension components, battery, hood and hatch struts, fibreglass replacement spoiler and new headliner.

Only issue with the car is brakes need cleaning from sitting all winter and 10 amp gauge fuse keeps popping but the fuse problem is being fixed this weekend. Other than that it would certify today.

Obviously its fully loaded as it is a GTA, other options include a/c, rear privacy cover, leather and digital dash.

For new to posting this is a great ad, nice pictures and presentation. Very beautiful GTA with a very fair price. Beauty! GLWS and with the search. A guy sold a similar car to your dream car on here about a year or two back, I think it may have been a 89 though...

 

Thx very much i did notice a couple mistakes of wording in my ad that i can't figure out how to edit. 1 being that both cars im looking for need to be ttop cars the other just a word missing an s. Nothing to do with the car. Springs coming so im sure she'll go.
