1) RCA input can be used for iPod hookup.

I bought this for my Grand National but can't bear to change the stock look as my car is an unmodified collector. And, I'm changing the non-stock items on my IROC back to stock. Sooo, I have a rare item up for sale and it is a BEAUTY. I'll need $400 plus the ride to part with this sweet, totally unused piece of vintage electronics. It's almost certain to be the only one in the world still new in the original box with all parts and all paperwork.



Condition: New, never used, but box shows some wear. Contents are brand new.

Why so pricey? Was this ultra high end audiophile **** in ‘87?

 

Well, a very used one which looked very recently sold on eBay for $199. This one in new in the box, never used. It's also a rare form factor for an original piece from the eighties. To put things into perspective, Delco UX1s often go $200 and more. Keep in mind in also has line ins also. I'm still tempted to install it in the IROC whenever I look at it. I highly doubt there's another new one to be found anywhere, at any price.

 

Very cool piece man! Any chance you know what backlight color it has? Firebird had the red/amber and camaro had the blue/teal coloring. Just wondering if it would match or not

 

Sorry, it's been sold .... I think it was the blue-ish color though

 

@StonersTA: Not sure if this is the most relevant thing anymore. This is what the unit looks like. This isn’t the one that was advertised in this thread, I found it elsewhere after seeing this one some time ago.
