been playing around with wheel ideas for my trans am on chatgpt. it gave me this rendering which ultimately cured my disdain for the front end of my car. has there ever been an aftermarket offering for a similar lower ground effects? Im thinking ill end up having to make something

 

Vaguely reminiscent of this kit discussed elsewhere on the forum, or even 85-90 ground effects on a 91-92

 

my guess is the shape of the 85-90 stuff wont even come close. the kobel is close but i hate what they did with the sides.

 

As much as I dislike my 92 TA front end, ALL aftermarket looks like boiled dog vomit.

 

cant say i disagree. the sides of the 91/92 were super. the front and rear bumpers overall sucked. ive debated going back to the 85-90 fascia and bumper. that said the rendering gave me hope it could look good with a lower airdam reminiscant of the earlier years instead of the half gfx half not thing that happens up front. i guess ill end up making something. maybe ill start with an 85-90 front lower dam if i can find one.

 

I’d go formula style all around. To me it was the best looking thirdgen or tied with the 87-90TA.

 

formula was way better however they need to be realll low for me to like them and im not currently up for that level of suspension modification.

 

There was someone on one of the fb groups that both 3d printed the cupholder and the front gfx

 

thats interesting. needle in a haystack however. any chance you can find that again?

theres some of the 30 years of history ive looked so desperately for something super specific i remember from way back when and simply cant find anymore too. or photobuckets death has removed the photos lol. the forums however i concur are way better than facebook. if it wasnt for marketplace id get rid of FB
