Manually open hatch

I found a rear spoiler and taillights at a salvage yard. We hooked up a jump pack to the car and tried the hatch release but no luck. No keys either. What is an easy way to get it to open? Don’t care if the panel inside is ruined or the hatch lock
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Re: Manually open hatch

If you dont mind crawling back there to the hatch area you could rip off the back interior panel and use a small screwdriver to release the latch or turn the tumblers. If you dont want to crawl back there and you are carefull as well as good with a decent flat blade screw driver and a hammer you could pound out the lock cylinder to pop the hatch that way. i stress the GOOD with hammer and screw driver becase one slip and there goes your tail lights or center tail section.
