Know of any good Tucson area shops? I have an 89 IROC that is in sore need of paint. Two years ago it was nearly perfect and then one day a small white spot appeared. Once it started to go bad, it went fast.
Anyhow, there are some typical rock chips, but no dents at all. The rear bumper has some paint chipping and will probably need to be sanded down to the plastic. The driver's side door has been hit (I guess) and has been repainted...but the paint is chipping slightly now. It's always been a slightly different color...not a good paint match.
Anyhow, I've never had a car painted before, not even sure what to have done as far as clear coat, wet sanding and all that junk.

Red. It has 85-87 rims on it. Looks stock otherwise. Probably haven't seen me around in it because I don't actually live in Tucson and rarely drive it up there.Originally posted by 7plagues

I did drive it up today and had fun setting off car alarms in the parking garage at the UofA. Good stuff.
