Well, as some of you may know I have a monster exhaust leak on my ’87 Zam and it’s just sitting in the garage collecting dust.
To make matters worse, the power steering blew out today on my mothers ’93 Lumina which I was using while fixing my Trans Am…
So… we’re down to 1 daily-driver and 1 spare… 3 people… Doesn’t look too good.
So, can anyone recommend a good mechanic? Preferably in the central/northern Orange County or eastern L.A. County area?
We have 3 cars (2 Chevy, 1 Poncho) that need a little help, and currently no time, energy or patience to do it ourselves.
:hail: Thanks!

I never endorse anyone nor anything but Don is the only exception he is a professional and the only individual I trust with my vehicle beside myself. If you are serious call him and make an appointment. DO NOT waste his time. Don is a gentleman and doesn’t deserve to be dicked around.

I PM'd him about a week or two ago.... but he was too busy back then.
Don't know if things are any better now?
I'll still haven't been able to convince my father that headers would be better (and maybe cheaper?!) than fixing the old stuff. But we did get another beater back from another mechanic today (he had it for 3+ WEEKS!!?) so the situation isn't quite as bad right now. That bought me some more time to negotiate.
Thanks for the input!

UPDATE:
"I decided" to go with fixing the old stuff. Father knows best and he wouldn't really budge on the headers issue thing. Anywho,
Turns out that a bolt at the manifold had come loose and vanished!?!
No trace of it!? ...and another one was loose.
So, tomorrow I will pick up the car, talk to the mechanic and see if he could tell if any other damage has been done. He seemed pretty optimistic though...
If all is well, I'm up for the October Super Cruise! :lala:
