I have noticed that strut tower braces have a pivot point on each side to mount to the strut tower and this leads me to believe that at the drag strip an stb would do little to keep one front wheel from lifting more than the other. Is an stb more for roadracing and I just misunderstood the theory behind it or what. Thanks for any help clearing this up.

From what I understand, a strut tower bar reduces/eliminates flex in the front end in hard cornering. The "pivot" that you see may be the adjustments for them. I just bought and installed a Jamex STB last weekend, and it was adjustable for the best fit.

I have noticed a world of difference in cornering... makes the front end feel so much tigher like its been locked up. It even reduces rattling up front over bumps and whatnot.

I doubt it will do much at all at the drag strip. It is more or less for AutoCross but it is a great mod... I wish I got one a long time ago!

I'll agree. I installed a strut tower brace and subframe connectors at the same time and the difference was amazing. The car feels so much tighter on turns, and handles much better.
