Pepboys installed new rotors on the front of my car a few months back. I figure they are the generic rotors. I went to Autozone to price rear rotors (they are bad) and they asked me if I want the normal or the performance....I was like ? .... the performance rotors are $68 each I think. I want to know which rotors to get for the back and if I can swap the front rotors to the rear and put the "performance" rotors on the front? The front does 80% of the stopping anyway right?
Btw I do plan on getting another 9 bolt posi rear w/ either 3.27's or 3.45's (too expensive to swap posi's and gears) so I will probably be trading my rear in (We have American Camaro and Firebird here in Okc...they have hella parts btw
) so I really don't need the hi-po stuff for the rear breaks unless I keep the break setup and put it on the "new" rear I guess. The 2.77's are great on the highway and are decent around town but I need something a little more to suit my driving style if ya know what I mean.
Any help or answers would be great. :hail: Thirdgen.org

The front and rear rotors are different and will not interchange.

You will need the "standard" rear rotors. Not the ones for the "Performance Package".
