Are the Z28's longer then the RS's? We tried to put a set of 91 rims on an RS with the spacer for the rear drums and there wasnt enough material to screw the lugnut onto. I was just wondering if there were differant sizes...

I havent ever heard of that before I have an RS camaro and I have a set of 91-92 Z28 rims on them. I used to also have the 88ish IROCs on them and had no problems. Why does your 91 rims have a spacer? Are you trying to put the front rims on the rear or something? My rims dont have a spacer on them.

My 92 came with spacers about 1/4" thick on the rear, but it came with the 16" Z/28 wheels.

spacers do exist on some applications from factory, and the only cars that would have longer wheel studs would be cars with thicker hub wheels such as aluminum wheels

good luck

Aluminum drum cars like the 86 IROC my TPI is from got longer studs than iron drum cars, not sure what disc rear cars got. But yes, there is more than one length.
