I have rear drum, no good. Well I've done some searching on these boards but I haven't seen anything good to answer my question. My question is, how costly/difficult/possible is it to put just rear disc on the stock limited slip differential that my RS has?

From the tech articles on the home page:

These are the LS1 brakes but the 1LE/LT1 style PBRs are essentially the same.

I did mine last week. I did it in the car. Took me about 2 days to get everything perfect, no leaks, flush fluid.

I got my LS1 Rear breaks from www.tacreationsusa.com/ for about $230 shipped. I even had them send the hard lines.

Couple notes about my install (see pics)

Used PVC pipe turned down as shim (probably could use electrical tape in a pinch) to center backing plate.

Weard thing is I ordered LE1 Hyperfirm stainless flex lines and the "T" where it attaches to the pumpkin area is ISO Bubble flares at that point on the hard lines, However, on the LS1 Hardlines they are double flare(?) Did'nt see this right off the bat and was wondering why I was getting a leak. So I swapped the "T block" for one that was double flare and all was good!

Was not too bad of a swap, happy with the results and the E-Brake is great. I used new E-brake cables from napa for the swap, eventhough, the LS1 came in the kit. LS1 hook up differently under the car, the Ones from a 90 1LE setup there is no fabricating needed, just clip in and go.
