I'm trying to decide on a combo for the track this season and i'm leaning towards a 275/50/15 tire on a 15x8 wheel with 4.5" bs. I dont want the "stick out" look...i would prefer them to be a little tucked in than out too much. Do you think this combo will give me what i'm looking for? some pics with the SAME combo would be real helpful too! thanks.

If you want them to tuck in something more along the lines of 5" BS would be more appropriate

4.5" will put them RIGHT under the lip, like almost equal to the lip. i think it looks pretty good that way.

I would go with 5.5 bs......Tucks the tires/wheels under nicely....just have to modify inner front rear fenderwell slightly for tire rub. Ive had both 15x10 and 15x8 with 5.5bs o my car and look awesome that way....

Can you post some pics please. I just sold my weld stars and never measured them. Now i'm looking to get centerline telstars and don't know what back-spacing to get. You can see them on my car on the home page below. They are 275/60/15's in the pic. I want 275/50/15's this time around and lower the car about 1-1.5" for more of a low stance. What do you guys think?

from looking at your pics it looks like you might have had 4.5 bs. 5.5 would tuck tire under car more....I ran 295-50-15 when I had 15x8 with 5.5 bs.....they are wider and lower profile than 275-60-15...so they will look better escpecially if it lowered a little...I dont have mine anymore or I would send you some pics...I actually have the z06 wheels that are on the red camaro on your 2nd page...I bought them from shawn18jgr...I think you will be happier with 5.5 inch backspacing....only thing you might have to do is massage the rear front inner fender wheels a little for clearance, which is no big deal....
