Hey folks,

I'm having to make a break for it and go the wagon family truckster route.....but I had just been privy to those ads floating where the SUV driving exp. is compared to the taming of a wilde beast....anybody know what I'm talking about?

Well, in trying to find out a bit more about it, I went to the site and even caught a freebie game they offer to test one's driving skill on the 'beast'....here i think ...www.esuvee.com/landing.html.......

I'm all about safe driving esp. with the family issues firmly at the forefront.....should I be concerned or am I just overly paranoid at having to leave the small and sporty behind for the big and bulky??

Yeah, I've seen those commercials where the guys are riding the "Esuvees" in a rodeo. Good stuff. But what exactly is your question?

They are just talking about common sense stuff. People feel invincible in their SUV's and don't drive them properly.
When ever my wife borrows my truck she complains about the way it drives because she tries to drive it exactly like she drives her Focus. Except for some factory hot rods like the Ford Lightning, no truck/suv can stop and corner like a car. But people try and drive them like that any way.
I don't race my truck and I don't off-road my Camaro, just respect what the vehicle is built for.
My buddy has a new Dodge 1500 and goes on and on about how good it handles, comparing it to sports car. He always likes to tell me his new "record" around a certain corner. All I can think is that it's been a long time since he drove a car if he thinks his truck handles well.
