I was talking to someone about wheel hop and he was saying to eleiminate his wheelhop he bolted the torque arm directly to his tranny. to me this doesnt sound like a very smart plan but i was just wondering if its been done.

It pretty much already is. The torque arm just attaches with a bushing.
