Well, both my inner tie rod boots are busted. What are the consequences of not fixing them?

The grease will be exposed to the elements, pick up dirt, get wet when it rains, etc, etc. No initial problems but over time it can become a problem. They are really cheap to replace man.

Oh I know, I'll change them. Right now I have to focus on getting the motor running decent enough and (I'm suprised) I can actually drive on the eyeball alignment I did so I don't want to pull the tie rods and change it.
I think I might even get the red poly boots
