I've got a 91 1LE (original owner) with 141K (almost stock suspension - exception of wear items - poly engine/trans mounts, greasable sway bar bushings, Monroe Sensatracs in front/back, and replaced the balljoints, tie rods and idler arm with Moog parts in the last few years). Non STock - I did add in an oem wonderbar - not sure why the 91s didn't have it, but it was only $20 from the junkyard, and I was replacing the swaybar bushings anyway.
I'm looking to replace the other bushings with poly as well with a kit.
Outside of this, what are inexpensive upgrades/wear replacements that I should do? I want to replace items that have worn out, or those that will get me great bang for the buck. The 1LE came with an upgraded suspension, and I don't want to toss any good stock parts (rather spend that money elsewhere and get my value out of what I have.
I would rather keep ride height as is, since it is a daily driver (when it's dry out).
A priority list with $ range would be nice (levels of performance and cost) based on everyone's experience with upgrades.

Well you can get replacement 1le endlinks from any dealer, the rest of the bushings are the same as far as i know, replacement 1le springs can be found, sways dont wear out.
Monroes are NOT sufficient for your suspension. you need Bilsteins or better. you will blow the monroes shortly they are not intended for the stiffer springs/lowered ride height.

Pretty much anything that was upgraded on the 1LE has something even better available on the aftermarket.

While there are better parts out than the 1LE has, I wouldn't go messing around with it too much if, like you said, you want a comfortable daily driver.
I would upgrade the brake pads; I am running Hawks HPS and I like them.
If you like, some a-arm bushings would be a good idea. I am going to go with the Global West 'DEL-A-LUM' bushings. Also, lower control arms and pan hard bar are some good upgrades that won't compromise the ride too much (depending on what ends you run) and will give a better feel in the rear of the car.
I would reccomend KONIs for the shocks/struts. Little pricey, but worth it in my opinion.
