i want some SFCs! but, i don't know what would be a good set. Weld in or bolt in? here are the ones i'm looking at.

or
competition engineering's weld in ones PN:247-3017 it also says it includes this:
Includes ladder bar crossmember & reinforced roll bar mounting points.
Now if i took these to a welding place (since i can't weld) would they know what to do with these parts?

Bolt in. I have the Jegs and have zero problems.

Get the weld in. I got south side machine from summit. Have no problems. Works pretty good. I don't know but I hear that the bolt in's over time have bolt hole elongation problems. Anyone who works with any kind of race cars knows where to weld them in.

I have a 84Z with a custom y-pipe because of headers. How much room do the ssm sfc's need? If you could give me the dimensions from the outside of the car and their height that would be great. Do they weld in next to the lip under the rocker panels?

From the summit the SSM measures 1.5"X2.5" and .120 wall steel tubing. If I remember right its 1.5" horizontally (I'd have to look under my car again)and it does weld right next to the rocker lip that I'm sure of. But to make extra sure make sure you have 2.5" between the rocker lip and your exhaust. You can call summit and they will tell you though.
