Okay..I have a couple of questions that I hope you guys could answer. I would like to know what type of springs you guys prefer, Eibach, Jamex, etc and why. Also what type of stuts/shocks do you guys prefer and why. And I was looking at replacing the bushings all around on my car, there seems to be two choices: PST and Energy Suspension (both offer kits (polygraphite and polyurothane) Is one really better than the other for handling and stiffness? I have a 1991 GTA L98. It has about 190,000 kms on it and it is probably time that it all gets done at once (right??)

If you have the money to spend I would say go with Eibach springs and Koni or Bilstein shocks/struts. If your on a budget go with the Eibach springs and KYB shocks/struts. I would also go with polyuretane bushings from Energy Suspension. You should also look into new balljoints and idler arms with that many mile on your car you probably need them. Don't settle for the Auto Zone special parts, get Moog parts. They are a bit more expensive, but you wil never have to worry about it again.

I agree with Superman's recommendations. I went with Eibach Pro-kit springs and Bilstein shocks/struts. TRW components worked fine for me. Polyurethane and Polygraphite are the same basically. But the polygraphite has graphite mixed into the urethane to reduce the chances of it squeaking when the suspension is flexing. Energy Suspension is my recommendation over PST. PST uses import components that aren't as good. Hence the cheaper prices. Good luck, Lon.

I have the PST Poly Graphite bushings in my Elcamino, and I love them. The problem is that they squeak like crazy. So if poly urathane squeaks more, then look out!!! But I have to disagree with Ionsal on the fact that PST uses cheaper parts. I also bought the front and rear sway bars with the front end rebuild kits, and they are top notch. No one makes a better bar. Nobody believes me when I tell them how well my Elcamino handles, until they ride in it.

For my T/A though, I will be getting the Energy Suspension mainly because they are a whole lot cheaper. $150 for the whole car,(front, and back) as oposed to $150 for just the front.

And be advised that if you buy one of those bushing kits, it really doesn't have everything you need to do a COMPLETE bushing replacement. Although mine had a tranny mount, which I intended to install anyways, but hardly has alot to do with suspension bushings. I put E/S bushings on everything and additionally had to get another set of end links, rear shock grommets, and swaybar bushings - front and rear, also ball joint boots...

Thanks guys for the the opinions and the warning thunderstick, from what I gather the hyperflex complete Master bushing complete master bushing set kit comes with:
Front and rear control arm bushings, front end link set, transmission mount, rear panhard rod bushings, tie rod end boots.

And the PST comes with:
2 Lower Ball Joints
2 Outer Tie Rod Ends
4 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Upper Inner Control Arm Bushings
2 or 4 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Lower Inner Control Arm Bushings
2 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Strut Rod Bushings (if required)
2 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Stabilizer Links
2 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Sway Bar Bushings
Control Arm Bumpers (for most models)
for $159 US from them direct. Seems like the PST is a better deal. But I am trying to find out which set is better...seems like the PST comes with more stuff. What else will I need??
