I'm starting to set up my suspension for autox and am looking to set more -ve camber. However, the right side has room to move the strut mount inboard but the left side is at the limit of the adjusting slots and only an inch from the brake master cylinder. Does this imply the frame is not aligned correctly or is there a way I haven't seen to get the top of the strut further inboard? If the top of strut can't be moved inboard any further is it possible to get the lower end further out? Is there a lower A arm available that's a little longer than stock for example?
no longer a-arms, but it has been mentioned that an earlier a-arm from some other car will "fit". Or, if yoiu ahve th ability, you can modify them yourself. I dont know what implications, if any, this will have on the front end geometry though.
as for the camber/caster, ect. Check out some aftermarket strut mounts if you need more adjustment.

Re: Can't get enough -ve camber?
The lower you get the car (shorter strut overall length) the more angle you can get thus more negative camber. What you do lose eventually though is camber gain when the a-arm inverts past neutral.
Ah. I hadn't thought that through. I've read about 1 and 2 inch drop spindles but it's hard to avoid the occasional scrape as it is. Sonoma county roads are mostly pretty poor. Most of the surface transitions seem to be made for trucks. Thanks.
Re: Can't get enough -ve camber?
Using eityher or both aftermarket extended travel strut mounts OR drop spindles will re lengthen the overall strut length and will lose potential of better negative camber range of adjustment.
As most things go- there are advantages as well as disadvantages to what you buy and how you use things in setup.
