Wonderbar Search

Hey guys, i have a 1982 firebird and was wondering if theres a way to run a wonderbar on my car and if so whats the easiest route. Nearly all of the bars ive found wont work with 82 or 89. Ive found one that works but was trying to find all my options before pulling the trigger on one. Thanks

IIRC, that is the only one that fits the early cars. This is due to the location of the sway bar mounting bracket bolt locations. Which changed shortly thereafter.

Top-down is a good company to do business with. Lon (I hope I have the correct name), has been here for a long time and has a good reputation.

Lon @ TopDownSolutions will take care of you. I also have one of his Wonderbars, and it's extremely good quality for the price. Highly recommended.

Re: Wonderbar Search

It's the 89 Turbo Trans Am that it won't fit. Every other 89 model will fit fine.

The TDS bar really is a nice fitting piece. It just slid in there with no straining or tweaking needed. 5 minute job if that. You'll like it.
